Fall and Winter Academic Exchanges

We have formal exchange agreements with prestigious law schools around the world.

In the second or third year of your JD, you can choose to spend a term on exchange at another institution.

You have three options for selecting a host institution.

Obtain a Letter of Permission to Pursue a Placement You Arrange Yourself

The Letter of Permission (LOP) program lets students arrange their own international study experience at an approved law school. It’s important to note that if you choose this option, you pay tuition at the host institution — not at Osgoode – and are not eligible for Osgoode bursaries or for the Ontario Students Assistance Program (OSAP).
