About our Students
Our diverse student body is drawn from undergraduate institutions across Canada and around the world. Our students come from academic backgrounds ranging from business, liberal arts, and the sciences, and many arrive with previous professional work experience. They are active within the Law School and the greater community through participation in numerous extracurricular activities and volunteer organizations. With Osgoode’s curricular and co-curricular emphasis on synthesizing the theory and the practice of law, you can be confident that an Osgoode graduate comes to you with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed.
Osgoode Hall Law School graduates are in high demand. They are employed at many of the country’s largest, mid-sized, and boutique law firms. Many have gone on to begin their own practices in diverse areas of law. Our graduates have clerked for the Supreme Court of Canada, and in a range of federal courts of appeal and trial courts. Many alumni serve the public by working in legal aid clinics and non-profit organizations and through a variety of other public sector employers.
