Professor François Tanguay-Renaud, Director of the Jack and Mae Nathanson Centre on Transnational Human Rights, Crime and Security at Osgoode, will be a Visiting Professor at the Robina Institute of Criminal Law and Criminal Justice at the University of Minnesota Law School from March 20 to April 8. While at the Institute, he will co-convene the second of a two-part collaborative conference on Wrongs Across Borders with Professor Neha Jain and Professor Antony Duff (the first part was held at Osgoode Hall Law School in April 2014). He will also make some guest appearances in seminars held at the law school, and carry on with his research on state wrongdoing and accountability through criminal law.
Currently a Visiting Faculty Fellow, Centre for Ethics, University of Toronto and a Visiting Scholar, Massey College, Tanguay-Renaud has also accepted a five-year appointment starting July 1, 2015 as Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at McMaster University. The appointment will provide an opportunity for him to participate in guest lectures in Philosophy’s Speaker Series as well as participate in conferences and workshops. In addition, he may co-supervise graduate students.
