Professor Carys Craig, Associate Dean, Research & Institutional Relations, has been awarded a President’s University-Wide Teaching Award, Osgoode Dean Lorne Sossin announced March 24 in a message to the Osgoode community.
The awards are intended to “honour those individuals who, through innovation and commitment, have significantly enhanced the quality of learning for York students” and “provide significant recognition for excellence in teaching, to encourage its pursuit, to publicize such excellence when achieved across the University and in the wider community, and to promote informed discussion of teaching and its improvement.”
Beyond having her name etched on the University-Wide Teaching Awards plaque in Vari Hall, “Carys’ dedication and commitment will continue to enrich academic life at Osgoode,” Sossin said. “Carys is a most worthy recipient of this honour and I know the whole Osgoode Community joins me in congratulating her on this outstanding achievement.”
