Law in Action Within Schools (LAWS) is “thrilled” to launch its brand new website, reports Eleonora Dimitrova, Executive Director of LAWS.
A partnership between the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and Osgoode, LAWS continues to be one of North America’s largest and most prominent law school youth outreach programs.
The program works within seven of Toronto’s most diverse high schools and combines law-related studies with practical experiences for students who face personal and systemic barriers to success. Most recently, the program has expanded to support its alumni who are currently undertaking their undergraduate studies and are high potential candidates for law school.
The success of the program relies heavily on volunteer law students and volunteer justice sector professionals.
