Justice Greene was appointed to the Ontario Court of Justice in 2009.  Prior to her appointment, she was a partner in the firm of Schreck & Greene.  As counsel, Justice Greene appeared in all levels of Court, including the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.  During her practice, Justice Greene was certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a specialist in criminal law, and developed particular expertise in mental health and youth matters in the criminal context.  Justice Greene was the President of the Elizabeth Fry Society from 2005 to 2008, and is currently on the editorial board of the Annotated Youth Criminal Justice Act Service.

Flumerfelt, Robin

Robin Flumerfelt has been counsel with the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General since 1997 where he has conducted criminal trials and appeals on behalf of the Crown. He is a former director of the Crown Homicide Course and has presented at educational programs for the Ontario Bar Association, the Advocates Society, the Criminal Lawyers Association, Osgoode CPD, the Law Society of Ontario, and the National Judicial Institute, as well as Crown Attorneys’ Associations in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Dizgun, Leslie

BA (Toronto), JD (Osgoode), MA (Concordia), LLM (Osgoode), CMed, of the Bar of Ontario

Leslie Dizgun is a Partner at Himelfarb Proszanski LLP. Mr. Dizgun is an experienced advocate in corporate, commercial litigation and employment law matters.  He also maintains a successful mediation and arbitration practice. He has received his Master of Laws degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School and is co-author of a book on Mediation Advocacy: Effective Client Representation. Mr. Dizgun has previously taught Civil Procedure; the capstone colloquium in Litigation, Dispute Resolution, and the Administration of Justice; and Dispute Settlement at Osgoode Hall Law School of York University.  Mr. Dizgun has also trained Superior Court Judges in effective Settlement Conference practices for the National Judicial Institute, and is on the teaching faculty of the Advocates Society.

Mr. Dizgun is a frequent speaker and instructor on advocacy and alternative dispute resolution topics at continuing education programs offered by the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association, The Canadian Institute, and the Advocates Society.

Di Domenico, Antonio

Tony is a Partner and Co-Leader of Fasken’s Antitrust/Competition & Marketing Group.  As former counsel to Canada’s Competition Bureau and having served as counsel in many of Canada’s most significant competition matters, Tony is widely recognized as one of Canada’s leading practitioners in competition law. Tony represents and counsels clients in domestic and multi-jurisdictional competition matters, including mergers, criminal cartel matters, advertising and marketing practices, abuse of dominance and other reviewable practices. Tony represents parties in criminal and civil investigations, litigated proceedings before Canada’s Competition Tribunal and class action litigation. Tony has extensive trial and appellate experience, having appeared as counsel before Canada’s Competition Tribunal, all levels of court in Ontario, the Federal Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. Tony is a sought-after trainer, speaker and writer on competition issues. He is the author of the leading legal treatise, Competition Enforcement and Litigation in Canada (Emond Publishing) which has been cited variously by Courts in Canada. Tony is an adjunct law professor at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, where he teaches competition law and trial advocacy. Tony is a non-governmental adviser to the International Competition Network and is active in the leadership of the CBA’s National Competition Law Section, the ABA’s Section of Antitrust Law and the IBA’s Antitrust Committee.

Caplan, Gary

Gary M. Caplan is a partner in the Toronto law firm of McCague Borlack LLP where he practices civil litigation and ADR. He is certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Civil Litigation. He also holds the designations of Chartered Mediator and Chartered Arbitrator from the ADR Institute of Canada. He has a Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration granted by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London, England and is an associate member of the Institute.

Mr. Caplan obtained his BA from McGill University and in 1974 was a Parliamentary Internship Scholar at the House of Commons in Ottawa. He was granted his LLB from University of Toronto in 1978 and was called to the bar in 1980. Gary was granted an LLM in Constitutional Law in 1990 and an LLM in ADR in 1998, both from Osgoode Hall Law School. He was appointed adjunct Professor of Law at that school where he has taught both Civil Procedure and Dispute Resolution. He was a Sessional Lecturer in Civil Procedure at Queen’s University, Faculty of Law in Kingston, Ontario. Mr. Caplan is a frequent speaker and training coach for the Advocates Society and other professional bodies.

Campisi, Joseph

Joseph Campisi Jr. practices exclusively in the area of personal injury at Campisi LLP, advancing claims on behalf of injured individuals.  He graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School of York University and was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2003.  In 2004, he obtained his Master of Laws Degree in Civil Litigation and, in 2009, Mr. Campisi completed his doctorate for which he defended his thesis evaluating motor vehicle accident compensation in Ontario since 1990.  In 2017, he was certified as a specialist in civil litigation by the Law Society of Ontario.  In addition to his practice, he continues to be an Adjunct Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School where he has taught insurance law since 2009.  He is also the updating editor of the Butterworths Ontario Motor Vehicle Insurance Practice Manual.

Bryan, Kelley

Kelley’s practice encompasses many facets of health and disability law, as well as guardianship and estate litigation matters. As well, she is a vigorous advocate for human rights and social justice, representing victims of discrimination, sexual assault survivors, children and elders. Kelley is an experienced litigator who has appeared at the Supreme Court of Canada, all levels of Ontario courts and before numerous administrative tribunals.

Kelley has presented on various mental capacity law and administrative law topics at Law Society of Ontario conferences, and has provided education seminars to organizations.

Kelley holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of British Columbia, as well as a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Calgary. She served as a judicial law clerk in the British Columbia Supreme Court before articling at a national law firm. Since moving to Ontario in 2005, Kelley has worked at two litigation firms where she nurtured her dedication to social justice lawyering.

Called to the Ontario Bar in 1985 after graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1983. Received LL.M in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2001. Former partner and head of the Estates group at Minden, Gross LLP. Currently, partner at Miller Thomson LLP, specializing in the areas of estate litigation, mediation of estate disputes, and estate planning. Adjunct Professor of the Estates and Estate Litigation courses at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto since 1991. Author of Wills and Estates: Cases, Text and Materials (4th edition), published by Emond Montgomery Publications Limited. Past Chair of the Executive of the Ontario Bar Association Trusts and Estates Section. Regular speaker at seminars sponsored by the Ontario Bar Association, the Law Society of Upper Canada and other organizations and institutes. 2023 Recipient of OBA Award of Excellence in Trusts and Estates Law.

Bethell, Brydie

Brydie Bethell studied law at Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar, and was called to the Bar in 2005.  She has broad experience in both civil and criminal litigation, and has appeared at all levels of court including the Federal Court of Canada, the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and the Supreme Court of Canada.  She has taught Evidence, Administrative Law, and Legal Ethics in the JD program at Osgoode, as well as Administrative Law in the LLM program within OsgoodePD.
