Practiced law with Blaney McMurtry LLP for 40 years until retiring in 2022. Practice focused on serious personal injury claims including MVAs, torts committed by governmental authorities, mediation and auto regulatory issues including drafting automobile insurance policies for the gig economy. Published numerous papers in his area of practice and considered one of the leading commentators on calculating damages under Ontario’s motor vehicle tort reform legislation and its revamped framework for lessor and lessee liability for motor vehicle accidents.
